l had split. Ordered one from ebay but we had bought the wrong one. Zac said he would come back on Wednesday. He kept us informed if there was an issue with timing. He called Wednesday morning and said he would be a little late but would definitely be there. He turned up as arranged, only took 5 minutes to fix it and was gone. Cannot fault these guys at all. I first used them as a tenant when my old machine broke so when I bought my first house and my machine was playing up they were the first people I called. They fixed my machine then, and have just replaced it with my new one despite it being a frankly Herculean task with very tight corners, plumbing and cables behind cabinets, and steep stairs leading down to the property. They also came and sorted out my boiler when it stopped delivering hot water. All at exceptionally reasonable prices. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I Chris fitted my a new boiler back in March. He was very helpful and gave us lots of good advice to help us make the decision to replace the boiler and which was the best option. The fitting was done quickly and Chris made sure everything, not just the boiler, was in full working order before he left. He advise of the process for services every year and what to do if we think we have an issue. I cannot fault the service we received.

I found these guys via Facebook reviews. Lee and Zack arrived early. Very polite and made me laugh - bonus! I knew what was wrong with the machine - the wire had come out of my bra! After taking the machine apart, Lee discovered it in the pipe behind the detergent drawer! Removed it without causing any further damage to my machine, luckily for me. Gas pipe needed moving to fit new oven. Wife rang in the evening, Chris was out the next morning to assess the job and did it there and then. Can't thank him enough. Brilliant service highly recommended, will definitely be having my custom for any future jobs.

I purchased a reconditioned Zanussi washing machine for just under £100 from 181 Respin over 7 years ago, and it has just broken down. It has washed at least twice a week, hassle free, for over 7 years, which is less than 14p per wash. The instillation of the new machine and the removal of the old was both free and efficiently done. Such value would be hard to surpass!

My tumble dryer died on me so thought I'd try 181 Respin and get a second-hand one. Rang up, went straight to their showroom and they had just what I needed. It was delivered 3 days later on time and quickly put in position and the vented hose attached to outside. My old one was taken away, job done. Tumble dryer began making an awful knocking noise, had usd 181 years ago so instead of paying the actual manufacturer's repair costs, thought I'd give 181 a call. Gentleman I spoke to said I think I know what the issue is and asked when I was available for them to call. Sorted out a time and day, arrived promptly and then an extremely quick diagnosis of the fault, which was what they'd thought it was. Damaged part removed and replaced very quickly. So now I don't have mounds of wet laundry all over the house anymore. Thanks very much for your prompt and courteous service.

I had a very old bathroom in dire need of updating and having used 181 on numerous occasions previously, approached them for a quote. I explained what I wanted and within the space of a couple of weeks, the job was underway. The overall finish has far exceeded my expectations; every little detail has been completed to an extremely high, professional standard. I used 181 RESPIN about 8 or 9yrs ago when they were based in Stoke. Their customer service was great then and I've Just bought another from them, now based next to The Range. I wasn't too happy with the one I chose originally & they swapped it for another with no problem at all. I would highly recommend them, always helpful and always smiling!

I have used 1-8-1 for the first time and their service has been second to none from my initial phone call to their office. The engineer arrived on time ,quickly diagnosed the fault and carried out the repair efficiently with care and no inconvenience whatsoever. I shall certainly use this company in the future.

My recent washing machine was fitted and they took away my old one which I bought from them about 18 years ago (it had a 6 month guarantee!!), the company seems to have based its ethics is customer service, no bullshit, no fancy promises, just good genuine customer service and you can't argue with that. I'm looking now to replace my gas oven with them!

I use 181 to provide and maintain my washing machines & Dryers in 6 properties and also do all the Gas Safe and plumbing works.

Nothing is to much for them, and work is away done quickly and efficiently. They have also fitted new boilers when needed and again this is done neatly and promptly.

Many thanks to the guys at 181. I had a intermittent spin fault and as the machine was 12 yrs old I had thought it was time to pay £££ to get a new one. I phoned to see if they had any decent 2nd hand ones but they advised to check the motor brushes. The brushes were dead and the motor bearing rough so they found an old motor , put new brushes in and the machine is now working fine!

I bought my second washing machine (the first of which lasted more than 5 years) from 181. they were prompt, courteous and efficient. I had recurring problems with the new machine, which they willingly dealt with each time and in the end were completely honest about its prognosis, offering me a different (and better) machine as a replacement. When my dishwasher stopped working, I thought I would have to buy a new one. With a baby on the way, this was the last thing I wanted to spend money on. I called 181 Respin as a last resort just in case they could help.
